The European Green Deal states that "energy storage and carbon capture, storage and utilization” is one of the priority areas to reduce greenhouse gas emissions of 55 % by 2030 and to become carbon neutral by 2050.

The project has received funding from the European Partnership on Metrology, co-financed by European Union Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme and from the Participating States.

MetCCUS M18 data management plan

The M18 Data Management Plan (DMP) of the Metrology Support for Carbon Capture and Utilisation (MetCCUS) project provides an outline of the project’s research data management plans. It is expected to evolve during the lifetime of the project with updates being made whenever significant changes arise, such as the generation of new data, changes in data access provisions or curation policies, attainment of tasks (e.g. datasets deposited in a repository, etc.), changes in relevant practices (e.g. innovation potential, decision to file for a patent), and/or changes in the composition of the consortium.
